Driftwood

Aimless walking around

In a wood, maybe it was on a street

A piece of wood in my hand

Instead of your hand, I still can feel it on my skin

There is a wall in front of me

I spray your face, colorful

Senseless walking at the edge

Of a deep canyon with no way out

Where should I go, where do I drift?

Where I have to go, where can I find you?

Aimless walking around

On a highway or deep down, underground

A city map in my hand

But it doesn't tell me where to go

Graffities on every wall

Everything looks to me like a picture of you

Senseless walking at the edge

Of a giant cup, the dirt of the whole world in it

I'm drifting around, driftwood in a strange city

Flying sand, I don't know where I run aground

Driftwood finds it home where it stranded

Never heard from driftwood, that never stranded
